Spring is such a beautiful season! Wildflowers line Peninsula roadsides and trails. Ferns, grasses, shrubs, and deciduous trees brim with fresh spring foliage. It seems that all the world is rejoicing. In May, Pacific or western flowering dogwood trees contribute much to the festivities from sea level to about 1500’. These blossoms were found along the west shore of Discovery Bay.
